Colombia’s networks
Since February 2026, Millicom controls both Movistar and Tigo, and in 2024 the two agreed to build one shared mobile network. The Colombia eSIM runs on Movistar, as a Colombian line.
Where you will travel
Signal thins out away from the towns: on the trails, on the islands and in the parks.

Arriving in Colombia
A phone on a Colombian line, like our Colombia plan on Movistar, may get a text asking to register its IMEI: you then have 20 days to register it with the network, or it is blocked on Colombian networks. Phones roaming from abroad are exempt.
