Short answer
Holafly advertises unlimited handset data for Peru, with a separate hotspot allowance. eSIM Americas sells fixed-data South America plans that include Peru and four other countries. Compare the same duration and currency, then choose according to your data use and route. eSIM Americas is the seller of one of the products compared here; this is a document comparison, not a speed test.

A dated comparison in US dollars

The table uses the USD prices published on Holafly’s Peru page and the current eSIM Americas catalogue, checked on 11 October 2026. The providers sell different data allowances, so these are trip-length comparisons, not equivalent quantities of data.

Duration Holafly Peru eSIM Americas South America
7 days Unlimited handset data, USD 33.90 3 GB total, USD 12.99
15 days Unlimited handset data, USD 45.90 5 GB total, USD 19.99
30 days Unlimited handset data, USD 81.90 10 GB total, USD 34.49

The 15-day products can cover a 14-day itinerary when their activation and expiry times fit the trip. They are not presented as 14-day products. The linked Holafly page’s selector may display another currency; the figures above are from its published USD price table. Recheck the selected product and checkout total before purchasing.

Phone data and hotspot are different allowances

Holafly’s page advertises unlimited handset data and 1 GB of hotspot sharing per day. Do not treat that as unlimited laptop tethering or a guarantee of a particular speed. Read its current terms for any applicable restrictions.

Our fixed allowances are one total balance: phone use and supported hotspot use both consume it. For example, using 1 GB through a laptop on the 3 GB plan leaves 2 GB for the remaining phone and hotspot activity. The allowance does not reset each day or at an international border.

Check whether your main demand is activity on the phone, another device, or both. A higher headline phone allowance may not solve a separate hotspot requirement. Conversely, a lower-cost fixed allowance is only useful when it covers the data you expect to consume.

Our Peru offer is a regional plan

The Peru eSIM sold by eSIM Americas is the South America product covering Peru, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Ecuador. It is not a Peru-only local line. Bolivia and Panama are outside that list.

For a journey from Peru into one of the other four included countries, check that the same validity period spans both legs. There is no new allowance when you cross. If your itinerary includes Bolivia, arrange coverage for that leg separately; the product’s regional name does not extend its country list.

This plan is data-only, with no local telephone number or ordinary voice minutes. Enable roaming for the eSIM line as its instructions require. A displayed local network name identifies the connection in use, not a promise that the product is a locally issued Peruvian telephone service.

Work through your own itinerary

For a light-use week, a 3 GB total means an average budget of about 0.43 GB per day if spread evenly across seven days. That is arithmetic, not a claim about how much a typical traveller consumes. Compare it with your recent phone usage, and consider what maps, uploads or video calls you will add while travelling.

For a two-week holiday, the 5 GB option offers a lower total purchase price in this table, but also a finite allowance. If your expected use exceeds it, compare a larger product or another data model. Do not buy on the lowest headline price and assume the allowance will expand later.

For a trip involving several covered countries, record the full arrival-to-departure window. The regional plan’s country list can be useful, but it does not establish reception on every road, trail or train. Our Cusco and Machu Picchu connectivity guide provides route context; save essential tickets and meeting details offline.

Installation, support and refunds

Check your exact phone model, carrier lock and available eSIM capacity before paying. Follow the selected product’s installation and validity-start instructions rather than assuming every provider uses the same trigger. Our QR code is available on the order page after purchase; keep the private order link available for setup and support.

Use the eSIM Americas help centre for our setup instructions. Keep your home line’s settings separate, and ask its carrier about charges if you leave it available for calls or verification messages.

Refund policies also need a separate comparison. Read each seller’s current terms rather than assuming an unused plan is automatically refundable or that all activated plans are excluded. Our refund policy explains when a service problem qualifies and how to request help.

Choose the product whose coverage, data model and total price fit the trip. These published specifications do not establish which service is faster or more reliable in the places you will visit.
